Sopore March 19: In the ongoing ‘Wular Premier League’ FCC Andergam defeated Challengers-XI by 16 runs in a low scoring match Monday here at Sheikh-ul-Alam Sports Stadium Tarzoo Sopore. Bating first FCC Andergam batting line crumbled as they managed to post a meagre 107 runs on board. Asif (48) and Shoaib (19) remained the top scorers for FCC Andergam. For Challengers-XI Kousar took 3 wickets while as Babar and Waseem bagged 2 wickets each.
In reply Challengers-XI failed to achieve the target and were folded for 92 runs with Babar (26) remaining the top-scorer. Zahid of FCC Andergam bowled a devastating spell picking his first five- wicket haul of the tournament and was undoubtedly adjudged as man of the match.
