BANDIPORA, MARCH 19: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora, Sajad Hussain today flagged-off a group of 61 farmers for exposure tour to SKUAST -K Shalimar under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) scheme.
On the occasion, the DDC stressed upon the farmers to fully acquaint themselves with the modern technologies adopted by University and progressive fruit growers, especially in the high-density plantation.
He advised them to take full benefits of the government-sponsored schemes. He also asked the Chief Horticulture Officer to ensure more and more field visits for progressive farmers so that fruit growers could be made aware of various development schemes.
