Sopore: After two years government announced Joint Director of Education for North Kashmir and South Kashmir, JD North Kashmir assumed his charge in DIET Sopore on Thursday morning

Bashir Ahmad Wani is now the first Joint Director Education for North Kashmir who has joined the office located in the DIET building of Sopore town of Baramulla district and has kick started its work.

This will be first time in the Education sector that a separate Joint Director Education for North Kashmir has been given and will be handling the issues related to education sector in the Northern region of Kashmir.

It is pertinent to mention here that Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti announced formally in her previous visit to District Baramulla.
