Div Com reviews implementation of CM’s commitments in Anantnag

ANANTNAG, MARCH 14: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan today reviewed the status of implementation of the directions passed by the Chief Minister during the outreach programme (Public Darbar) of Anantnag district in a meeting here at Dak Bungalow.

DDC Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik apprised the Divisional Commissioner about the action taken report on the CM’s directions.

Divisional Commissioner was informed that, out of 319 directions passed by the CM in the Public Darbar on 11th of November, 2017, 74 have been implemented so far, while as rest are in different phases of implementation.

While giving the details of the Animal /Sheep Husbandry Department, it was given out that all the 08 directions have been implemented, which include construction of building for Animal Husbandry Centre at Bijbehara and Veterinary Centre at Jablipora.

Div Com was informed that in Social Welfare Sector, both the 02 directions have been implemented. Similarly, in Rural Development Department 02 directions have been implemented, which include toilet facilities near Ziyarat Shariefs / Jamia Masjid.

Likewise, in the Hydraulic sector, out of 42 directions, 05 have been implemented which include up – gradation of WSS, Dethu, WSS, Brinty Batapora and construction of production well at Check – e – Ishardas.

With regard to Health sector, it was given out that 04 directions have been implemented out of 20 which include improvement of healthcare services at Badasgam and availability of healthcare services in the district hospital, Anantnag during night hours.

With regard to Power sector out of 11 directions, 04 have been implemented which include repairing of the transformer to restore power supply to the street lights on the approach road to the railway station, Anantnag.

Similarly, 06 directions have been implemented out of 24 others.

The meeting was attended by DDC, Anantnag ADC, Anantnag Chief Planning Officer, Anantnag, SE& R&B, Dy. Director Food & Supplies, CMO, CEO, Exens of PMGSY, PHE, PDD, R&B and all the district officers of the line departments.
