SSB organizes civic action programme

Srinagar: Srinagar: Sashastra Seema Bal SHQ (Spl Ops) Srinagar (J&K) organized a Civic Action Programme at Gujjar & Bakarwal Boys Hostel, Tulsi Bagh on Monday.

A PIB release issued here today said that Sunil Kumar, Second in Command, SHQ (Spl Ops) SSB Srinagar presided over the function several officers besides hostel staff and students were present on the occasion.

Sunil Kumar handed over furniture items (Wooden dining tables and wooden benches) to the hostel warden. Besides this, a group photograph with Hon’ble Union Home Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh was also presented to the 16 inmates of the hostel who were sponsored by SSB for a study tour to Mysore, Bangaluru & Delhi in the month of December 2017 and happened to interact with HM.

During interaction with the students Kumar highlighted the motto of Sashastra Seema Bal and urged them to come forward and be a bridge between the forces and public.
