ADDC Ganderbal flags off farmers for exposure tour

GANDERBAL, MARCH 11:- Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, NA Baba today flagged-off a group of 16 farmers of the district for exposure to Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana under Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) scheme.

The programme is organized by Agricultural Department Ganderbal under Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) scheme. It is aimed to help the farmers to acquaint themselves with the latest technology and practices in regard to mushroom cultivation, apiculture, and other allied farming practices.

Speaking on the occasion, ADDC, N.A Baba stressed the farmers to avail the benefits of modern technology used in various fields of agriculture. He advised them to make full use of latest technology and play a role in disseminating this valuable information further to other farmers so that maximum benefits are procured.

Among others, CAO Ganderbal, Ghulam Mohammad, Sub Divisional Agricultural Officer Ganderbal, Mansoor Ahmad and other Officers from Agricultural Department were also present on the occasion.
