Srinagar, Mar 10: A young man was killed after a train hit him at Nowgam in Srinagar on Saturday morning, reports said.
The deceased was identified as 27-year-old Nadeem Manzoor of Kanipora.
Reports said the incident took place at around 7 am.
“The man was walking in the prohibited area wearing earphones of his phone ,” a Railways official was quoted by the GNS news agency as saying.
