Noida, Mar 9 : Former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah said today that “each election has divided”, and not united, the people of the country.

Addressing an event at Amity University here, the Lok Sabha MP and National Conference chief said, “Each election has divided us and not united us…the people asking for votes, who feel threatened, tend to divide the people of the nation in the name of religion. I appeal to students to create a nation where every religion is respected, which will lead to peace.”
