Bandipora district admin reviews status of 132 KV BBTL

BANDIPORA, MARCH 10: District Administration today held a joint meeting of concerned officers and landowners to remove the bottlenecks in establishing of 132 KV, (Double Circuit) Badampora-Bandipora Transmission Line (BBTL).

The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Khursheed Ahmad Sanai. The Assistant Commissioner Revenue, concerned Engineers, Revenue and Horticulture Officers were present at the meeting.

The meeting discussed threadbare the causes of delay in the completion work of the Grid Station. It was given out that 132 KV BBTL, costing Rs 19.85 crores has total 111towers, out of which 97 towers stand completed, rest of the 14 towers, 10 falls under the jurisdiction of district Ganderbal, while as four towers are in Bandipora district.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADC asked the concerned Engineers to speed up the pending work of towers and make visit the sites to resolve the disputes with landowners.

The meeting was informed that the Grid Station Patushay is almost completed at a cost of Rs 17.52 crores.

Among others, the Executive Engineer TLCD Shah Mohammed and AEE Muzaffer Jan were also present in the meeting.
