Srinagar, 10 Mar 2018. Army today flagged off a Capacity Building Tour to New Delhi for the youth of Shopian and Kulgam districts.
In a statement issued here, a defense spokesman said that Commander 2 Sector RR, Behibagh Army Camp flagged off the tour.
Commander addressed the students and exhorted them to make best use of this opportunity. He emphasized that such exposure to vast employment opportunities outside the state of Jammu and Kashmir will surely make a positive impact on the young minds. He also encouraged them to see places of historical importance along with places of learning and experience the vast culture of this great nation.
The ceremony culminated with refreshment and kit distribution to the tour participants. The students were very excited and showed great enthusiasm in the event, said the spokesman.
