SSB organises civic action programme

Srinagar:  Sashastra Seema Bal SHQ (Spl Ops) Srinagar (J&K) organized Civic Action Programme at Gund Hassi Ghat, Lawaypora, Srinagar on March 08 during which several items were distributed to 35 orphanage students.

“Utensil items (Steel plates, glass, jug, bucket spoon and pressure cooker), clothing items (Track suit, body warmer set, socks and shoes) and stationary items were distributed to 35 orphanage students run by Al-Muzamil Welfare Trust (Yateem Khana),” a press release issued by PIB said.

Besides this Mohd Javeed Kozgar a local businessman has also contributed and distributed school bags, footwear and tea cups to the orphanage students, said the release.

During the function and interaction with the students and local residents, Sunil Kumar, Second in Command, SHQ (Spl Ops) SSB Srinagar highlighted the motto of Sashastra Seema Bal and urged them to come forward and get benefits of such programmes. He also praised Firdous Ahmed Ganai In-charge Al-Muzamil Welfare Trust (Yateem Khana) and team for doing such a noble job.

Firdous Ahmed Ganai In-charge Al-Muzamil Welfare Trust (Yateem Khana) thanked SSB for helping the needy orphanage students and requested to help in future also.
