Baramulla, Mar 08: A man was sentenced for two years imprisonment as the court of Judicial Magistrate Baramulla found him guilty of rash and negligent driving which has caused death of a minor girl in 2011.
Court of Judicial Magistrate (Sub Judge) Baramulla, Khursheed-ul-Islam convicted Qazi Fasil, son of Qazi Jahangeer of Qazi Mohalla Delina, for rash and negligent driving under sections 304-A and 279 of RPC and sentenced him for two years simple imprisonment after finding him guilty of causing death of a minor girl.
Qazi’s rash and negligent driving resulted into death of Saika Majeed, daughter of Abdul Majeed Tantray of Delina, when she was hit by Qazi’s vehicle on the highway near Jammu and Kashmir Bank Delina in 2011.
