Efforts on to mitigate problems of common people: Kohli

JAMMU, MARCH 06:  A deputation of prominent citizens and political workers of Nowshera, Sunderbani and Kalakote areas led by Dr Ashok Sharma, Tuesday, called on the Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli and apprised him about problems being faced by them in wake of constant bandh call given in the area in support of district headquarter.

The deputation discussed various developmental issues of the area including the alternate education arrangements in view of closure of schools and providing of relief to the people whose livestock was killed or injured in the area due to border shelling.

Interacting with deputation, the Minister said that the government is aware about the facts and demands of the people of the area and assured them that their genuine demands will be looked into on priority and government is taking all efforts to mitigate the problems of the general masses.
