Budgam, Mar 05: Four residential houses were gutted in a fire incident at Shulipora village of Budgam district late last evening.
According to the locals, fire appeared in Abdul Aziz Ganie’s house which soon spread to other houses in the vicinity.
“The fire spread into the other houses bringing four residential houses to the ashes before it was controlled off,” locals said.
The houses which were gutted belonged to Muhammad Yousuf Ganie, Ali Muhammad Ganie, Abdul Aziz Ganie and Ali Muhammad Dar of Makdampora locality of the village, locals said.
Property worth of lakhs was damaged in the fire incident, they added.
