Srinagar, Mar 04: Authorities have shifted Dr Qasim Fakhtoo and Muhammad Shafi Shaereti from Srinagar Central Jail to different jails in Jammu.
Fakhtoo has been shifted to Udhampur Jail while Shaereti has been shifted to Sub Jail Hiranagar in Kathua district of Jammu.
The move comes a month after Naveed Jatt, a top Lashkar militant managed to flee from SMHS Hospital premises before killing two policemen.
Fakhtoo’s wife Asiya Andrabi confirmed that her husband has been shifted to the jail.
