Musical Morning organized to celebrate Women’s Day at Raj Bhavan

JAMMU, MARCH 03: A cultural programme hosted by Usha Vohra, First Lady, on the occasion of Women’s Day was held in the lawns of Raj Bhavan today. It was attended by women Legislators, officers and wives of Civil, Police, Judicial and Military officers.

The attractive programme, organized by Radio Kashmir- Jammu and Doordarshan Kendra, included enthralling musical performances presented by singers from within and outside the State. The performances included folk songs in Dogri; Urdu and Kashmiri Ghazals; semi Classical and Sufi songs.

The programme was designed by Anjali Sharma, Director Radio Kashmir-Jammu and anchored by Madhavi Sharma, Senior Announcer Radio Kashmir-Jammu.

The performing artists included Anuradha Kuber, Ustad Sakhawat Hussain Khan, Zulekha Fareed, Dhananjay Koul, Samual Masih, Kusha Sharma, Chinmai Sharma, Sonali Dogra and Asha Keser.
