Baramulla: A noted chemist Ghulam Nabi Sidiqi escaped a bid on his life when an unknown masked burglar attacked him last evening while he was returning home from his Shafeeq Medicate drug shop located at Noor-ul-huda Market in Baramulla.
Sadiqi said, “Assailant in a bid to snatched cash attacked me from behind with an iron rod when I was returning home on Friday late evening.”
“The attack took place just outside my home in the lane of Madina market where burglars tried to snatch the cash and attacked my father with iron rod,” said Naseem Sidiqi son of Ghulam Nabi.
It is an attempt to murder, we demand probe, he added.
Police has registered case in this regard and investigation is going on.
