Srinagar, Mar 01: In a statement here, police on Thursday said that some news portals have updated a statement issued by an organization regarding some happenings in an Arab country.
“There is every apprehension that publishing or updating such statements can flare up the passions and may cause sectarian tensions in state, particularly in Kashmir valley,” the police said.
It urged the news portals to avoid publicising such statements that may lead to disturbances in public order.
