Governor, CM extend Holi greetings

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 28:  Governor N. N. Vohra and Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, in separate messages, have greeted the people on Holi and hoped that the festival of colours would be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.

In his message of felicitations, the Governor observed that the celebration of festivals, a valuable part of our rich cultural heritage, strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and amity. He expressed the hope that this Holi would spread happiness and joy all around and promote harmony.

Wishing a happy Holi to the people, Governor prayed for their well-being and prosperity.

In her message, the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti too has felicitated people of the State on Holi, popularly known as the festival of colours. She hoped the festival to be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity for the people.

The Chief Minister said Jammu & Kashmir is an abode of rich cultural heritage and values and celebrating such festivals strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and amity in the State.

Mehbooba Mufti prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the people on the occasion.
