SHOPIAN, FEBRUARY 27: District Development Commissioner Shopian, Mohammad Aijaz today flagged-off a group of 17 farmers on seven-day exposure-cum- training tour to Ludhiana and Punjab under centrally sponsored Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) scheme.
During the tour, organized by the Agricultural Department Shopian, the farmers would visit different agricultural universities, laboratories and farms and undergo training in latest innovative agricultural technologies for progressive farming.
Sharing details of the tour, Chief Agricultural Officer Shopian said that the aim of the tour is to educate farmers about the latest innovations and technologies used by the farmers in other states.
