2 scooty-riders critically injured in Baramulla

Baramulla, Feb 27: Two minors were injured critically after a car hit their scooty at Karlhar Kanispora in north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Tuesday.

Witnesses said that the two scooty-riders sustained critical injuries in the mishap near Kanispora petrol pump on Srinagar-Muzzafarabad highway when a speedy Alto car (JK05E-6610) hit their scooty (JK05E-7790) from behind.

The injured riders identified as  Aadil Rashid Dar and Mustafa Rashid, from  Hygam Baramulla, were rushed to District Hospital Baramulla wherefrom doctors referred them to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.

Police has registered a case and detained the car driver — Safraraz Ahmed Dar, son of Sonawullah Dar, resident of Kralhaar Baramulla.
