Uri: After brief lull, fresh artillery shelling and firing starts in Hajipeer and Churanda areas in Uri sector in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district as Indian and Pakistani troops continued exchanged light and heavy mortar shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday.
Sources said fresh ceasefire violation took place around 12:30 a m in Hajipeer Sector and heavy shelling and firing is going on.
At least 35 families were shifted to safer places after three residential houses were damaged-one completely and two sustained- partial damage in Tilwari frontier village of Uri.
