Bank account of drug peddler frozen in Samba: Police

Samba: Police on Thursday seized vehicles and froze the bank account of a “notorious” drug peddler under Section 68F (Chapter 5A) of Narcotics & Psychotropic Substances Act iN Samba, a police spokesperson informed.

He said two vehicles and a bank account of drug peddler Mushtaq Ali alias Kaka, son of Shah Din alias Shauwa, resident of Gujjar Basti Sarore Adda were seized/frozen. The said drug peddler is currently absconding and a warrant for his arrest has been issued by Session Court Samba under NDPS Act, police said.

Police said a total of six FIRs, including four under NDPS Act and two related to attempt to murder and possessing sharp-edged weapons, are registered against the accused.
