Avalanches block Kishanganga river at Gurez: Officials
Bandipora: Avalanches have blocked the Kishanganga river in north Kashmir’s Gurez valley, officials said on Friday.
They said that people have been requested not to venture near the river.
“The places where the avalanches have hit and blocked the river are Chakwalian and Angikoot in Tulail,” SDM Gurez confirmed.
So far, no loss of life or property has been reported.
