Patient in high risk evacuated from Machil
KUPWARA: With the timely intervention of District Administration Kupwara, one more life was saved today from the tough situation in the snow-bound Machil area.
The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara with the active support of the Army arranged a chopper service for evacuating a high-risk patient namely Zareena from Thali Dudi in the Machil area of Kupwara district.
The Department of Health & Family Welfare in its release have expressed gratitude and thanked District Administration Kupwara in general and Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Dr Doifode Sagar Dattatray in particular for arranging a Chopper service to ensure the timely evacuation of the high-risk patient from the snowbound area.
The release further reads that during the past 72 hours, two patients got saved due to the in-time intervention of Dr Sagar, who is committed to quality patient care in this far-flung and border district.
The people of the district, especially those living in far-flung areas, have hailed the efforts of DC for his dedication and commitment to such exemplary human services.
