Srinagar: The Jammu Kashmir Youth National Conference Provincial President Salman Ali Sagar on Saturday said that youths are the agents of change and their inclusion in the political process is key to sustainable peace and prosperity in Kashmir.

This he said while addressing members of the JKNC Student’s Union in Khanabal, Anantnag. Senior party leaders Dr Bashir Veeri, Ab Majeed Larmi, Riyaz Khan were also present. YNC functionaries and other office bearers were also present on occasion.

In his address, Salman said, “Party’s student wing has a greater need to develop a clear understanding about the party’s policies, priorities and perspective at multiple fronts in wake of the big challenges that have surfaced post-2019 measures. The youth associated with the party have to work on mass fronts now and reach greater audiences, particularly educated youth through various social media forums.”

Salman Sagar said educated youth are trailblazers of democratic awareness at the cutting-edge level and no political party can survive without having a constructive youth engagement policy. “NC students union is expected to assist and help college and university management in identifying loopholes and discrepancies in the academics, students welfare and problem-mitigation at other levels,” he further said.
