CRPF man dies of heart attack in Srinagar

Srinagar: A 50-year-old paramilitary CRPF trooper posted in city centre Lal Chowk in Srinagar, died of heart attack in the early hours on Friday, officials said.

Quoting the officials, news agency GNS reported that Head Constable, Shravan Kumar, a driver in the 19th battalion CRPF, had a cardiac arrest at around 03:20 a.m. at Akhara building area of Srinagar.

Kumar was shifted to hospital but was declared brought dead on arrival, an official said.

A police officer confirmed that trooper died of heart attack.
