FCS&CA re-fixes retail price of poultry products in Kashmir

Srinagar: The Department of Food, Civil Services and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Friday issued revised retail price of poultry products for Kashmir division.

According to an official communiqué, the FCS&CA department has fixed the price of Broiler (live) at Rs 110 per kilogram. Similarly, Parent (live) per kilogram price has been fixed at Rs 95 whereas, Rs 66 has been fixed for per dozen eggs.

“Consequent upon the decisions taken in the meeting and in supersession of all previous notifications issued on the subject and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Essential Commodities Act, 1955; I, Dr. Abdul Salam Mir, Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, Kashmir hereby revise and re-fix the maximum rate of poultry and poultry products,” reads the order issued by Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.

“This notification shall have immediate effect,” the order adds.
