Sopore Police organizes competition to celebrate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav’

Srinagar: As part of ongoing country-wide celebrations of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav’, Police organized a competition in collaboration with SRM Welkin Higher Secondary School in Sopore.

The competition was held under three categories Debate competition, Essay competition and Painting competition for both (boys and girls) of SRM WET Higher Secondary School Sopore. A total of 40 students participated in the said competition.

At the end of the competition, the prize distribution ceremony was chaired by SSP Sopore Sudhanshu Verma. He was accompanied by SDPO Sopore, DySP DAR and other senior police officers.

The winners of the competition were felicitated with trophies.

SSP Sopore in his address appreciated the success and intelligence of students as well as the organizers for mobilizing such a unique event. He also stressed upon the young budding artists of the district to explore their own thoughts and imagination through the medium of art.

SSP Sopore along with other officers wished them good luck for their future.
