Tavera vehicle damaged in blast in Baramulla
Baramulla: A CRPF man was injured after suspected militants hurled a grenade at security forces in Langate area of Handwara.
Confirming the incident, a police officer said that militants lobbed a grenade atE-07 CRPF. “In the incident, a CRPF trooper received minor splinter injuries. He has been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment,” he said.
The officer said that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
Meanwhile, a blast took place on the Azadgunj bridge in which a vehicle got damaged.
Sources said that unidentified persons hurled a grenade in Azadgunj Baramulla in which Taveera vehicle of Nazir Ahmad Gojree has got reportedly damaged in the blast. However, police denied it being a grenade attack.
