HASK conferred ‘Commendation Award-2021’ during Republic Day function at Baramulla

Wushu International Champion Jabeena conferred ‘District Sports Woman Award’

Baramulla: Human Aid Society Kashmir (HASK) was conferred ‘Commendation Award-2021’ during the 72th Republic Day function held in Baramulla.

On the occasion, Additional District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Aijaz Abdullah Saraaf, was flanked by ADC, ACR and DIG Baramulla.

The award was conferred to Chairman HASK, Bashir Ahmad Mir, by Additional District Development Commissioner Baramulla Aijaz Abdullah Saraaf who was flanked by ADC, ACR and DIG Baramulla.

“It is a matter of pride that the Human Aid Society Kashmir has been honoured with Commendation Award for its outstanding performance in the field of public service,” said Bashir Ahmad Mir.

“I congratulate and laud the efforts of the volunteers and members of the organization for working tirelessly for 22 years due to which the organization has established its faith among the general public. This award goes to the entire society,” he added.

Meanwhile, the first Kashmiri woman champion in Wushu, Jabeena Akhter, of Tangmarg Baramulla was conferred ‘District Sports Women Award’ by civil administration for her achievements and contribution in sports at 72nd Republic Day function held at DPL Baramulla.

“It gives me a sense of honor that my work as a sportswoman is being recognized and awarded at my native district,” said Jabeena.

Pertinently, Jabeena won a Bronze medal in International Wushu Championship which was held in Erevan Amreina.
