Mugal road opens for one way traffic
Shopian: The Mughal road was Wednesday opened for traffic after remaining closed for seven days owing to snowfall during the last week of November.
The traffic on the 84-km road, connecting the twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri in Jammu region with south Kashmir’s Shopian, was opened and both light and heavy vehicles were allowed to ply from Shopian towards Rajouri.
The road was closed for traffic on November 23 after snowfall in the high altitude areas including Peer Ki Gali along the road.
