Former minister Taj Mohi-ud-din to contest DDC polls
Uri: Senior Congress leader and former minister Taj Mohi-ud-Din has decided to contest upcoming DDC polls.
Talkig to KNS, former minister and powerful congressman said he has decided to contest the elections after deliberatinh upon the ongoing political situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the offensive assault of communal and divisive forces across J&K.
Former minster said “I have decided to give tough fight to those dividing people on communal lines,”.
He also said he is going to file nomination papers on coming Monday in Uri Replying to a question why he is Distrct boars level election, he said ,” BJP wants to grab DDC board, if it gets occupied, then what can we do. why should not i fight this election till Assembly election so that there is development in the area. For me People are important not status” Mohiuddin told KNS, “I don’t bother about its protocol. I want just development and relief for the people. Our motive is BJP should not get space here.”(KNS)
