People from cross section of society awarded at Infotel-2020

Kashmir Images North Kashmir Bureau Chief among various awardees

Baramulla: People from a cross section of society, who worked with dedication and honesty in their respective domains, were conferred Infotel-2020 awards in a grand award ceremony organized by ‘Kashmir Tehalka’ News Group at Sherwani Hall Baramulla on Wednesday.

Valley’s renowned radio and television artist, theater cum drama artist, singers, civil administration, police officials, teachers, health experts, doctors and journalists were awarded Infotel awards 2020 by Kashmir Tehalka News Group in collaboration for their dedication and contribution towards society.

Director Urban Local Bodies Kashmir Riyaz Ahmed Wani was chief guest while as recently elected Employee Joint Action Committee (EJAC) chairman was guest of honour.

After presenting the awards to different winners including health experts, renowned doctors, paramedics, teachers, poets, artists, journalists, social activists and others, Director Urban Local Bodies Kashmir Riyaz Ahmed Wani said that the aim is to acknowledge the dedication and commitment of the people towards their respective fields.

“The sole aim of organizing this award ceremony was to encourage and acknowledge the dedicated personalities, artists and media persons teachers who have contributed towards betterment of society as whole in their respective fields,” said Editor in Chief Kashmir Tehalka  New Group and Manger Infotel Telephone and Information Directory  Mohammed Latief Bhat.

Senior Journalist Working President BWJA Anzar Mohju, Chief Correspondent CNS,  was conferred upon the prestigious Tahelka Infotel Award for his all round contribution as Journalist, Social Worker and Poet.

On this occasion, Block Medical Officer Sheeri  Dr. Sheikh Farooq, senior consultant and surgeon Dr. Afaq Sherwani, Kashmir Images North Kashmir Bureau Chief Reyaz Rashid, Manzoor Sheeri of KNS,, City Express, Tahir-ul-Haq Early Times, Rahi Nisar of Gulistan TV, Muneer Hurrah of Network18 Urdu were awarded journalists  for their  extensive and fair reporting on different issues and public grievances.

On this occasion cultural artists, singers presented a variety of Kashmir folk programmes and enthralled the partcipants.
