Deceased girl of Handwara tests negative
Baramulla: The young girl with flu symptoms from Khuroo Langate Handwara, who died of cardiac arrest at GMC hospital Baramulla on Friday, tested negative for Covid-19 on Saturday much to the relief of her family and the villagers.
A health official said that sample was collected from the deceased girl yesterday and the test has come negative.
“The slain girl from Khuroo Langate Handwara died of a heart attack, however, because of new guidelines that all those who have a high fever and chest infection should also be treated as COVID-19 suspects so we took the sample to rule out any possibility of Coronavirus infection,” a health official at GMC Baramulla also confirmed.
