National Lok Adalat held at High Court Jammu, Srinagar
JAMMU, FEBRUARY 08: The J&K High Court Legal Services Committee under the Patronage of Justice Geeta Mittal, Chief Justice, High Court of J&K (Patron-in-Chief, J&K State Legal Services Authority) and guidance of Justice Rajesh Bindal, Judge, High Court of J&K (Executive Chairman J&K State Legal Services Authority), and special guidance of Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, Judge, High Court of J&K (Chairman High Court Legal Services Committee) organised a National Lok Adalat at both the wings of the High Court Jammu and Srinagar today.
In Jammu wing of the High Court, 03 Benches were constituted, whereas, at Srinagar wing 02 Benches were constituted.
In both the wings of High Court a total 270 cases were taken up out of which 08 cases were of MACT and 01 case of 561-A and seven cases of bank recovery. A compensation of Rs 53,50,000 was also awarded.
