Army organizes medical cum veterinary camp at Karnah

Karnah, July 13: Army’s 17 Bihar Battalion under the ages of Shakti Vijay Brigade Tanghdar organized a medical cum veterinary camp at Gundishart village of Karnah tehsil in order to ameliorate the medical and veterinary problems of the local populace living in far flung areas.
More than 500 patients including men, women and children were attended by a team of trained Army and civil doctors along with nursing assistants. The patients were given medicines by the army.
The medical staff provided counseling on hygiene and sanitation, importance of safe drinking water, preventive measures against ailments and modern day lifestyle related diseases.
A team of Army veterinary doctors and veterinary pharmacists attended to the animals.
A total of 150 animals were treated during the camp and provided free medicines.
