Well wishers, donors interact with BAITUL HILAL children, attend IFTAAR

Srinagar: The guest visits to interact and have Iftaar with BAITUL HILAL children at J&K Yateem Foundation’s Jawahar Nagar headquarters here continued during past two weeks of Ramadhan, a statement issued today said.

The speakers at interaction sessions generally called for taking  appropriate measures to safeguard self respect and dignity of children at orphanages in Kashmir. They highlighted the need to put in place transparent, accountable and professional administrative structure for carving out more success stories from the orphanages across the State. The guests appealed general people to visit orphan children regularly at orphanages so that they feel sense of belonging and experience comfort within social mainstream.

Several guests from cross section of society interacted with children at BAITUL HILAL Srinagar and later had Iftaar on common dastarkhwan (Dining Sheet), said the statement.

Retd Principal Chief Conservator A R Wani during his maiden visit to BAITUL HILAL interacted with children. He suggested several positives measures for the overall personality development of children and betterment of JKYF’s administration. He assured his support to the initiatives being undertaken at JKYF.

General Manager BSNL Kashmir Er Musharib Gul Mufti, senior Television journalist & Bureau Chief of CNN-IBN Mufti Islah, Associate Prof Institute of Management & Public Administration (IMPA) Dr Khurshid ul Islam; Educational entrepreneur & MD ALOHA, J&K Mubashir Wafai, Assistant Director Tourism Javid Rehman and various other guest visitors interacted with all the BAITUL HILAL children before Iftaar time.

Er Musharib Gul Mufti urged children particularly 10th to 12th class students to focus on extensive studies and work hard while availing good available opportunities for achieving best careers in medicine, engineering, humanities, research, media, etc.

Mufti Islah talked about his experiences and enjoined upon children to shun negative mindset and work positively with dedication & commitment to achieve desired career goals including those aspiring to be mediapersons.

Mubashir Wafai urged the students to excel in academics and education so that they become global students with global job opportunities for best careers.

Javid Rehman encouraged students to work hard and keep eyes on 100% achievement with focussed attention on clearing concepts in all subjects. He encouraged students to think about civil services examinations for which intense and exhaustive studies were needed to achieve success.

During interaction session, all the children with different backgrounds and domicile in J&K happily and confidently expressed themselves freely and communicated their ideas about careers and aim in life.

Several other donors, well wishers and   general visitors also interacted with the children in different daily sessions before Iftaar.

All visiting guests had IFTAAR with children at Common Dastarkhwaan (Dining Sheet) and also clicked group pictures as memoir.
