Darbar Move employees Federation demand roll back of HRA deduction order
SRINAGAR, MAY 13: Darbar Move Employees Federation, J&K president Owais Wani has asked director estates to roll back its order of deducting HRA in lieu of providing hotel accommodation.
“Some employees have reported to the Federation that on providing hotel accommodation, HRA is deducted. But hotel accommodation is a temporary accommodation in which one room is allotted to two employees and HRA is a house rental allowance for family living purpose,” a statement issued by the Federation said.
“We request authorities not to deduct HRA on providing hotel accommodation,” it added.
“We request administration for special arrangements in hotels for Iftar and Sehri in the holy month of Ramzan,” said the statement.
“We request Dir Estates to provide separate hotel rooms to all Darbar move employees so that Jammu based employee can even bring their families here also. It will also pave way for bringing back Kashmir Pandit to valley,” the statement further said.
