Kaksar School upgraded to High School after 68 years

Kargil: In Jammu and Kashmir, the lone School of Village Kaksar situated on the LOC and which is witness to almost all the wars fought between India and Pakistan, got upgraded to High School recently after 68 years of its establishment in 1952.

The upgradation was officially inaugurated by the Chief Education Officer Kargil Nazir Ahmad Wani during a small programme. He was accompanied by Coordinator RMSA Ashraf Ali Sagar, Village Sarpanch Mohammad Hussain and Headmaster of the School Mukhtar Qadiri.

Students of the School presented various programmes on this occasion and also kept some demands before the Chief Guest.

Nazir Ahmad Wani, while asserting on the need of quality education from government run schools, appreciated the efforts of the teachers who are working hard to make learning process a fun by organizing various programmes like the Famous Kun Banega Dosopati, which was a hit on the social media.

Nazir Ahmad Wani also assured for fulfilling the demands of the school like Library and laboratory for better education of the students.

Kaksar is a historical village of Kargil where the villagers pay tributes to Kargil war hero Captain Sourab Kalia by organizing a cricket tournament every year.
