Srinagar: Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema (MMU) has called for a shutdown in Kashmir against an NIA notice to Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and ban on Jama’at-e-Islami on Saturday, March 16, 2019.
An extraordinary meeting of MMU was held and a unanimous resolution was passed strongly denouncing the NIA notice to Mirwaiz, a spokesman of MMU said.
