JKLF condemns detention of Malik, others
Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has condemned the random arrests all over the Kashmir valley.
It is worth to mention that JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was arrested by police on 22nd February 2019 while as JKLF district president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya), district president Budgam Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan along with activist Mushtaq Ahmad Wani are also in police custody, a JKLF spokesman said in a statement issued today.
While condemning these arbitrary arrests, raids against political activists and leaders, religious and social figures and Ulema, the spokesman said hundreds of young boys and elders have been arrested from last four days from nook and corner.
JKLF said that suppression of peaceful political dissent by police and army is equal to imposition of martial law.
