JRL withdraws strike call
Srinagar, Feb 13: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Wednesday said that hearing of Article 35A in Supreme Court of India on 14th February, has been withdrawn and the same was conveyed to the trio by the lawyers present in New Delhi.
In a statement issued here, JRL said that strike call against hearing of 35A on 14th February, has been withdrawn.
JRL said: “The Kashmir bar association led by senior lawyers Mian Qayoom, Zafar Shah, Zaffar Qureshi, Mohd Ashraf and others are in New Delhi defending the case at the Supreme Court on behalf of the people of disputed J&K. They are in touch with the leadership.”
“The senior lawyers of Bar will be present at the Supreme Court tomorrow as well and will closely monitor the case and update the leadership about it,” reads the statement.
