FOB organizes awareness programme in Baramulla
Baramulla: Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting organised an awareness programme on drug abuse and its ill effects on society at Sheerwani Auditorium Hall, Baramulla.
Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Nasir Ahmad Naqash was the chief guest on the occasion while Chief Medical Officer, Baramulla, Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Nasir Ahmad Naqash emphasised the role of society in dealing with the menace of drug abuse. He stressed upon the audience to shoulder the responsibility of spreading the awareness about the ill consequences of drug abuse.
Lauding the efforts of Field Outreach Bureau in organising the event, Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo expressed desire to have more of such programmes in the near future.
