Film festival for kids with restricted vision organized at Jammu
JAMMU, JANUARY 30: A film festival for visually impaired kids was organized here today by Directorate of Samagra Shiksha with the help of Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM Jammu.
The ‘Kano Dekhi’ festival is a special initiative by the MirchiCares group, conducted throughout India for kids who have restricted vision that stops them from enjoying movies.
The Film Festival was organised at Platinum Movie Time SPA, Palm Island Mall, where the students of the Blind school, Roop Nagar Jammu and the Indian Red Cross society members were present.
On the occasion, Secretary School Education Department Ajeet Kumar Sahu, stressed upon organizing similar activities for children with special needs and to create awareness about inclusive education among the society in general.
Director Samagra Shiksha, Dr. Arun Manhas, State Coordinator Samagra Shiksha Dr. Ravinder Jangral were also present on the occasion.
