ADC B’la imposes Rs 32000 fine on erring traders
BARAMULLA, JANUARY 09: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Farooq Ahmad Baba today imposed a fine of Rs 32000 on various traders, shopkeepers, Hoteliers for unhygienic conditions, besides other sub-standard services to the visiting customers.
A team of officers led by the Assistant Commissioner Food Safety and other concerned officers inspected various companies, shopkeepers, Hoteliers wherein they found the sub-standard services and consumables in unhygienic condition being provided to the people. Consequently the matter was brought into the notice of ADC, who imposed fine of Rs 32000 under various section of Food Safety & Standard Act. He also warned them to abide by the legal regulations besides providing qualitative services to the people.
