Train service suspended in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 28: Train service was suspended on Friday as a “precautionary measure” in south Kashmir, where a militant was killed in a shootout with government forces in Rinzipora area of Pulwama today morning.

A rail official said in wake of Pulwama incident, train service between Banihal and Srinagar will remain suspended today as a ‘precautionary measure.’

“However, train service between Srinagar to Baramulla will run as per schedule,” he said.
