Three localities in Muchpuna Pulwama san drinking water facility

Pulwama, Nov 17: Three localities in Muchpuna village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district are without drinking water facility as no water pipeline has been installed there.

According to locals, the water pipeline originating from water tank at Rangamullaha is spread all over the Muchpuna except three localities of the village Makamdampora, Khanpora and New Colony which are without drinking water facility.

The locals further said that they have approached the concerned authorities several times requesting them to install the water pipeline in the said localities but to no avail.

One of the residents, Ghulam Hassan Wani, of Muchpuna said: “Almost sixty households of three localities in Muchpuna are without drinking water facility as no water pipeline has been installed there.”

When contacted Executive Engineer PHE Pulwama, Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, said: “We have already included the installation of pending water pipeline at Muchpuna in the proposal of languishing project and hopefully the funds for the same will be allotted in the next meeting.”
