JKLF, Hurriyat G hold peaceful protests

Srinagar: On the call of joint resistance leadership (JRL) call, JKLF leaders and activists staged two separate protest programs at Koker Bazar and Budshah chowk Srinagar.

A JKLF spokesman said that JKLF leaders and activists staged peaceful protest at Kokerbazar and Budshah Chowk against alleged human rights violations in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the ‘ongoing oppression in Jammu Kashmir especially in the south and north of Kashmir valley’, said the spokesman.

In the meantime, All Parties Hurriyat Conference held a peaceful protests after congregational Friday prayers in various places in Kashmir valley against the NIA’s charge sheet against incarcerated chairperson of Dukhtran-e-Millat Syeda Aasiya Andrabi and her two associates, Naheeda Nasreen and Fehmida Sofi and yet another detention under PSA of Hurriyat leader Masarat Aalam Bhat.

In a statement Hurriyat Conference said that Hurriyat leadership and large no of people held peaceful protests in Hyderpora Srinagar, Anchar Soura and Gurpora Suzaith.
