BJP’s Ladakh MP resigns
Srinagar: Thupstan Chhewang, member of parliament, Ladakh parliamentary constituency, has resigned from the basic membership of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP).
The sitting MP also resigned as MP.
In a communiqué addressed to Ravinder Raina, State President BJP, J&K, Chhewang said that he is resigning from the basic membership of BJP on health grounds.
“I am also writing separately to the Hon’ble Speaker Lok Sabha resigning as MP from Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency,” Chhewang wrote in the communiqué.
